Dear Mini Friend,

You signed up to be informed when I add minis to my printables page.

I've just updated the site to include numerous posters and other WWII
vintage items donated by Gregory Howard aka "the Old Sgt." They're
all going up in 1:6 (GI Joe or PlayScale) and 1 inch scale. They will
clearly be most interesting to people recreating WWII era scenes but
I find them simply fascinating. They include some propaganda from
both sides, some public service announcements against VD, and some
pin-up girls. It's not what I'd call the normal fare for my site. I
have some more that I'm holding on to including advertisements where
I'm unsure of copyright issues and the most anti-Semitic material and
some that I had trouble making readable in a reduced size. I may
choose to post them in the future or I may not. Thanks Sarge for
donating all these images!

I actually had to take some time off of work to get this update done.
I'm sorry that I'm posting so little updates these days. I would only
expect updates once or twice a year.

I greatly appreciate the support of people who bookmark my store page
and use it to enter Amazon, Target, Dell, Toys R Us, All Posters.com
and the other online stores whenever they're going to shop at those
sites anyway. I get a small referral fee when you do this, and you
pay the same price you would have by going to the store directly. You
keep my site alive. Some of these sites (Amazon for example) have
more than one store depending on your country. I only have
affiliation with the US sites. The page to bookmark is:

I know this has been the source of confusion for sometime, but I'm
not from the UK. For some reason when I signed up for this list, I
got marked as being from the "UK & Ireland." I've never figured out
how to get it changed. I'm actually from Iowa in the United States.
If anyone knows how to correct this up, please let me know!

I've just added asphalt shingles (in three colors) for all scales.
And Jason Tonjes asked and got permission of Ralph Griffin from
http://www.the-waltons.com for me to post a mini version of "The Blue
Ridge Chronicle" of "The Waltons" fame. I have a version for
Playscale and 1" scale. Just for fun I made a topographic map of
Walton's Mountain in Playscale to go with it. Thanks Jason!

Dear Mini Friend,

You signed up to be informed when I add minis to my printables page.

I've just added tarot cards in 1" and PlayScale. These are oversized
(seems like tarot cards often are) and are almost readable in
PlayScale.

I still have several great donated printable minis that I haven't
managed to get online yet. I need to spend some time and sort them as
I'm having trouble remembering which I've already posted. I'll try to
get some more online in the next few months.

The Craft Pack Company, the business that donated prizes for this
year's contests has given me a discount code to share with you. If
you enter the code CD15 at checkout, you'll save 15% off your whole
order. Please check out the wide variety of dollhouse miniature DIY

Dear Mini Friend,

You signed up to be informed when I add minis to my printables page.
I've just added 5 new items:

1. Modern "digital" Camouflage
2. A wonderful 1" Scale Dollhouse donated by Kathryn McCullough
3. A stove (all scales)
4. A DVR/Satellite/Cable Box (1", ½" and PlayScales)
5. And a Pirate Treasure Map (1", ½" and PlayScales)

I've still have a backlog of several great donated printable minis
that I haven't managed to get them online yet. Some more will be
coming in a few months.

I've selected winners in my annual mistake finding contest. The
contest took a few years off so this year I'm awarding multiple
winners. Thanks to everyone who helped fix my site. I'm sorry I can't
give you all a prize. As always, I'm awarding one prize based on a
random draw from all the entries. That winner is Andrea Renee. I'm
always pleased when the draw selects someone with many entries.
That's certainly the case with Andrea.

Julie Bishop gets a prize for finding my biggest blunder. I had an
incorrect link on dozens of pages that she pointed out. It was
actually an error in a single file, but since that file showed up on
most of the printables it was everywhere!

I'm also awarding a prize to Thor Sheil. Thor wins for helping me
with the complicated task of getting all the ratios right in the
scale calculator.

Finally this year I'm awarding a prize for the other way you can help
with this site. Many people have sent in some great donations over
the years. But I don't think I've ever been as pleased as I was with
Elizabeth Vose's cereal boxes. I think a lot of people don't
understand the effort required to keep copyrighted images out of this
sort of item. Liz's boxes look like they could have come straight
from the store. Thanks Liz! And by the way, I still have a few un-
posted donations from Liz waiting in the wings.

The prizes this year are 1:12 scale kits donated by The Craft Pack
Company. Please check out the wide variety of dollhouse miniature DIY
projects on their site: http://www.thecraftpackcompany.co.uk/

Sorry for such a long time since the last update! It's been since

Dear Mini Friend,

You signed up to be informed when I add to my printables page. Over
the years, playscale cigarette boxes have been the most requested
mini, I expect because G.I. Joes and Genes come from an era where
smoking was so common. I've been slow to make any because, although
I've always thought most of my audience is adults, I certainly
wanted to keep my site "kid friendly." But I've finally decided to
go a head and make some. I've also finally updated the sample
calendars to show 2006 or 2007 dates. As always, it's simple to make
a scale calendar for any date you want.

I plan on making more updates this year than last. But I wouldn't
expect them to come more often than once a quarter or so. I really
doubt I'll ever get back to making them as often as I used to.

Dear mini friends,

Hello! It's been so long since I last updated my printable mini web
site that I'm beginning to get people emailing to make sure I'm all
right. I'm fine, but I've been very busy getting a Master's degree.
I expect this to be the last update of 2005, but hope to do a better
job again next year. I've just posted some great Halloween themed
printables donated by Barb Carel of Mugglededunns, and cakes,
greenhouse flats and garden bags donated by Elizabeth Vose. Thanks

Even though I haven't done a good job of posting new printables this year, I've
