Hi Everyone,
First of all I must say an enormous thank you to everyone who is
helping me with this I can honestly say I would be stuck with out you
all. I have two things I wish to mention first of all I have been
swapped with email related questions so if you have asked a question
please be patient I will answer you ASAP as I greatly appreciate your
help.
The next is an update of in the information I have managed to gather,
unfortunately not a lot as I'm at university at the moment and
deadlines are (as always) inbound like a very annoying NerbelWerfer
missile. But what I have gained so far is:
My Grand Father started his war in either 1939 or 1940 and was part
of the BEF I assume as he was at Dunkirk.
This unfortunately is the most I have managed to gain in the time
I've had. BUT I have one major correction to make and that is he was
not with the Artillery as I previously thought but was with the Royal
Engineers. Sorry about that mistake.

Thank you again so much for the information. I'm heading home this
weekend so I will take any contact details you have all given me and
will see what I can gather and if anyone is interested Il happily
update you.
