Picket Llyods TSB this Saturday for their complicity in Israeli war crimes.

On Saturday 10th 9am there will be a picket of our local branch of Llyods TSB 
on Market Street in Lancaster. The branch is open at 9am and closes at 1pm. 
Please come by and show your solidarity even for a little while. At 11.30am 
in the Market Square there is a vigil in solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Interpal is a UK charity aiding the besieged
 people of Palestine. Llyods TSB 
closed its account with Interpal in December 2008 and refuses to say why. 

According to the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, “by hitting 
Interpal’s banking facilities, Lloyds TSB aims to support Israel by shutting 
off the trickle of aid that Interpal has managed to get into occupied 
Palestine over the years of Israel’s brutal siege.” Llyods TSB is helping
the 
Israeli murder machine by cutting off aid to those in desperate need. 

In a world where transnational capital is the only policy maker, the way to 
effect change is to hit them where it hurts. We need explain to their 
costumers what Llyods TSB are doing and support them in taking their business 
elsewhere.  

Lloyds TSB Chairman, Sir Victor Blank, is a governor of Tel Aviv University, 
Chair of the Union of Jewish Students/Hillel, a member of the Advisory Board 
of the United Jewish Israel
 Appeal and is involved in Labour Friends of 
Israel. One Lloyds TSB director, Sir David Manning, is an ex-ambassador to 
both Israel and the USA and was Foreign Policy Adviser to Tony Blair during 
the planning for the invasion of Iraq.
