Just to let everyone know there will be a planning meeting at Lancaster University on Thursday 1st November at 6 pm in Furness LT3
Hopefully this week we will meet our new members and getting to some new ideas about our future activities, especially about the wall, where we come across the wall week on November.

As you know the Friends of Palestine Society is only as active as our members who volunteer make it. As we plan to hold elections in the coming weeks to elect new committee but before we do that we need at least one person for each position. There are many benefits of joining the committee: contributing to the university experience, having a say in how things are run, gaining many new skills, valuable experience and making new friends.

 We encourage you to nominate yourself or somebody you think is capable for one of the
vacant roles since that way we can ensure we have at least one person for each role. The vacant roles are President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Publicity Secretary; all members are invited to join any position on the committee.
