I've just had another unsuccessful try at ringing so I'll settle for this
way.
How is it all going? I was delighted you had suggested my coming out and I
know my answer was very unthought out and just about practicalities. I've
been trying to figure out why I didn't jump at the idea. I'd like to talk it
through more with you but think it is about not having a practice,
activities here that I could link it with so it would just be another one
off visit, unlike for you who have worked out a way of making connections
around it. I think that I should better use that timet o be establishing
some sort of base to work from here. Dont know if that could be the ~PSC
group. We set up some hares in May and haven't followed them up properly
yet - maybe thats what I could be doing. Or maybe it needs to be something
nearer here that I can be better involved in.
But I would like to find other ways of supporting your visit. I can give you
a donation, will send a cheque. Is there something money raising we could
scheme up? That does need a conversation. And maybe it is simpler to just
ask people.
How about other ways. could we follow up the idea of a regular web
conversation and start it off with you.
You must be having lots to think about. Have you heard any more about
whether there will be anyone else there in November? I haven't heard back
from Sheffield.

Hi
As some of you may know I am returning to Palestine in October for the olive
harvest and am currently fundraising to cover my costs for this trip.
I will be working with the International Women's Peace Service
(www.iwps.info), helping co-ordinate teams of internationals who will
provide accompaniment to farmers in Salfit and Nablus districts. Many
farmers in these districts face massive problems when trying to access their
land from both the Israeli military and armed settlers. International
presence can make a real difference in these situations.

If you are able to help financially it would be very much appreciated. I
need to cover the cost of my flight and living expenses for 2 months (approx
£600)
