The boy drew his sword.
He hadn't meant to slice the head clean off - it was meant to be a joke, a
little harmless fun. He hadn't meant to go this far.
But now it was too late.
He had beheaded her.
Her dismembered body lay on the floor, her eyes staring upwards towards
Jack, as a painful reminder of what he had done. How he wished he had never
taken his Dad's antique sword from the case on the wall, how he wished he
could turn back time.
Sally let out a piercing scream, her brother had gone too far this time,
"Mum!" she wailed, heartbroken, "Jack's broke my Barbie doll!"
