People getting the wrong end of the stick was one of the biggest
problems back in LOOT (IMHO). Without the visual cues from a face to
face discussion AND without the instant feedback of a face to face
discussion some misunderstandings are inevitable*.
That is one of the reasons why I didn't like the games where people
insulted their friends "for a joke". It was too easy for people not
involved to not get the joke and start being bitchy.
Anyhoo. You are back now. That is the important thing.
I think you have my phone number. Give me a call if you think I've
done anything wrong again. I'll either put you straight (if you've
misunderstood me) or appologise (if I've misunderstood you)**.
Yours tippexly,
Big Mac
* = Last time I spoke to IWETEC he was boycotting me because he
thought I didn't back him up when he was in the Intrepid Fox. I
called him and explained that I wasn't there and didn't kwow anything
about what he was upset about. I'm still waiting for him to check
things out and get back to me, so I'm glad that you are back NOW!
