They actually asked people to email directly to them. Luckily you
posted your details to the group and may not have sent them to the
scammers. However they might have been recieving emails from the
group or reading replies on the website.

You should never post your personal information in Public Mouth, or
any other mailing list, newsgroup or forum. All of these things are
indexed by search engines like Google and there is no way to get your
information back once it is posted.

I am deting your message as it has your personal details in it. I'm
also deleting all replies that have your personal details in them.

However, your details may already have been indexed by search engines
like Google or may have been passed on by anyone who gets emails from
Public Mouth. You may recieve phone calls from telephone scammers who
happen to aqcuire your infromation, so be cautious.

(I'm reposting edited versions of the existing posts to preserve the
non-scam bits of people's posts. I would ask anyone who wants to
reply to emails to make sure they cut out personal details and scam
details as I will just delete any other emails that feature your
information or the website of these criminals.)

Sadly there are immoral people out here in the real-world. The only
thing you can do about this is protect yourself and those you care
about. Educate your friends about online scams and you make it harder
for these people to get money off of people (including yourself).

Be careful of telephone scammers as there are more of them about now.
I get dodgy calls from Canada trying to get my credit card details
off of me.
