He will have to "get a life" because I've adjusted the group settings
so that all membership applications get moderated *and* all messages
from new members go into the moderation queue.

This means that when he sets up more fake yahoo identities I can
delete his pointless posts before anyone sees them.

He set up a couple of fake identities (and pretended to be
interesting) before sending in his usual insulting messages. But I
deleted both of his messages and banned both of his fake identities.
It took me seconds to ban him. Given that he had to wait for my
response he probably had to waste a lot more time than I did. I think
he has given up now and looked for another group to bully.

(I've put up overrides on long term members like you, so that your
messages don't go into the moderation queue when you post. So
hopefully nobody will ever get bothered again except the trolls.)

I've been told the best policy for this sort of anti-social behavior
is: "don't feed the trolls" so I won't say anything else about this
in case he is reading. And if he comes back and says anything else
nobody except me and my delete button will ever know! ;-)
