It is indicated by a variety of symptoms according to where the radiotherapy was required. If abdominal or pelvic radiotherapy was required, it may have caused substantial bowel damage, and may be termed radiation enteritis. Bones may also be weakened wherever it was applied. Damage occurs far more frequently than is commonly realised, even by doctors. We would welcome a doctor working in this field to join and contribute.
