I too was away on the 14th but I am becoming very concerned about this, The
amount of graffiti is certainly increasing. We are allowing our wayward
children and teenagers to denigrate the visual impression of our
neighbourhood. It needs a lot more effort to a) catch more of the
perpetrators and b) clean it off much quicker to avoid giving them the
pleasure of seeing their tags as they journey too and from school. We also
need to prevent the theft of the paints from B&Q or homebase or wherever -
these outlets need to be persuaded to put security tags on graffiti paints.
