Merton Council's Planning Applications and Licensing Committee will
be discussing LESSA again tomorrow night (Thursday 17th October), in
Crown House, Morden, starting at 7.15 p.m. David Freeman expects
another huge turnout ! The report on the subject
(http://www.merton.gov.uk/committee/reports/1582.pdf) makes many
references to W.S. Atkins' "Open Spaces Study", but this still seems
to be unavailable to the public, either on the website or in print.

The Raynes Park and Lower Morden Area Forum will meet again in Raynes
Park Assembly Hall (next to the library) on Thursday 31st October,
starting at 7.30 p.m. One of the items on the agenda will be the
results of the Raynes Park ward survey (for which forms were sent out
at the beginning of the month). There was a very poor attendance for
this in July, so let's hope everyone's now back from holiday, finds
this venue easier to get to and can drag themselves away from their
pumpkins.
