To help mark the 75th anniversary of the Residents' Association, we
are combining with the Friends of Cannon Hill Common (see
http://www.rpwbresidents.org.uk/otherorg/fchc.htm ) to finance the
planting of a belt of trees to mask, in due course, the dead and
dying elms now much in evidence on the Common opposite Parkway, at
the Cannon Hill end.
Initially, a strip 50 metres long by 3 metres wide will be planted,
and volunteers are invited to help on Saturday 29th November from 10
a.m. Tools and gloves will be provided, and no previous experience is
necessary. Not all the work is arduous, and we would love children to
join in!
