me I am not connected to the `Legion` in any way but I have written this little
piece of poetry and thought you may like it, anyway it is a personnal tribute

Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion,
Ex,service personnel.
Answered to their countries call,
And done the job so well.
They fought in many battles,
Through two world wars,and hell.
They gave their lives for others,
So many young men fell.
It takes a special person.
With courage,they can give,
To fight for right and freedom,
So that other folk may live,
The Royal British Legion,
Those who really care,
As long as there are servicemen,
The legion will be there,
