Dear Member
End of WW2
BBQ 11 September 2005
Introduction
The original
intention was to hold a Family Function on Veterans’ Awareness Day, 10
July 2005. Sadly this event had to be cancelled due to the majority of
personnel being away. It would be a shame if the Branch did not mark the 60th
Anniversary of the end of WW2 in some way. The Branch will be holding a BBQ on
Sunday 11 September 2005 at the Poppy Inn, Dempsey Barracks. This event will
also be used to mark the 10th Anniversary of our Friendship with the
Schloß Neuhaus Kameradschaft. The President, Brigadier N P Carter CBE will be
in attendance.
