VETERAN'S DAY 28 JUNE 2008

Although 27 June 2008 is designated as the official Veteran's Day, it is
felt that it would be better supported if an event was held to mark the
occasion on a weekend. Paderborn Garrison will be holding a Veteran's Day
celebration/commemoration on Saturday 28 June 2008.

The Event is still in the planning stages at the moment; however we would
like to get an idea of numbers as soon as possible so that I can forward the
information to the Garrison Adjutant. An outline programme consists of: a
parade, church service and social event (possibly a garden party). An
invitation is extended to the British Ex-Service Community and their
families (overseas), regardless as to whether they are Legion member's or
not . Those wishing to attend should contact the undersigned. Further
details will be published when known. Please distribute this information to
your members.
