I totally agree with you!

I saw RoboRichard (The first in the new 50th series) and thought why
do these puppets look and sound different.

Luckly, I had taped it as I was doing school work so after I had
watched it I grabbed my Sooty poster (which I got from Tesco)
promoting Series 49 and compared.

The majority of the puppets are not even the same.

Sooty and Sweep look like the ones used in the Sooty Show,
Soo has changed completely (not for the better) and looks as if she
has been dragged through a hedge backwards and a voice change,

Miki has lost her Brazilian accent and has gained stripes and is a
totally different puppet.

Butch has changed (also not for the better) and looks like he has had
tights or socks draped over him.

The hotel is now called Hotel Sooty and not Sooty Heights.

Another poor opening episode, and I thought I was the only one who
had noticed the change.

Poor poor poor little pre-schoolers who are going to get confused and
say "Mummy, why does all the characters in sooty look different?"

Please, Richard/CiTV bring back the old puppets! You still show them
in the opening credits and now we want them BACK!!!!!!!

Sorry about waffling there I just needed to get it out of my system.
