It's Offical Hit Enterainment is actually spending money and is
using Sooty in various ways. First came the current Sooty Tour 'Wet
& Wild Tour', now the first Video & DVD release from its current
owners will be release on April 25th 2005. Just to remind you on the
Sooty DVD front; 'The Sooty Show' is owned by Thames Video and has
release 4 DVD's which feature episodes of The Sooty Show on them.
Plus there's the release of 'Sooty's Video Show' which has been re-
release four times by a company which keeps changing their name.
Currently called 'Abbey Home Media' the DVD version says it has 29
minutes but its bonus feature is it features 20 more minutes and
includes everything expect Soo (voiced at the time by Mrs Corbett -
Harry Corbett's wife and Matthew mum) singing 'Sing A Rainbow'
because she likely didn't give permission or couldn't get the
copyright for the song she sung.
The latest Sooty on DVD is Sooty & Sweep as Ant's (from Ant and Dec)
Drunked Mates in Ant's Stag Do episode on Chums Best Ever Episodes
release on DVD called 'Chums' which also feature 5 other episodes
plus the best clips from SM:TV Live.

Now lets talk about the upcoming DVD release (And Members PLEASE
RELPY AND GIVE YOUR COMMENTS ON THIS FUTURE DVD RELEASE).
Called 'Magical Children's Favourites with Sooty' this release will
more likely feature episodes from Year 49 as they more likely want
to go down the classic look instead of the last three years using
the retro looking puppets (made to look like Harry Corbett's first
version of Sooty, Sweep and Soo. With Scampi and Butch made in the
retro style and Miki taken the look of Kipper the Cat even know
Kipper was a male cat and Miki is a female cat for a 50 series type
thing). This DVD will include magic theme episodes from Thomas &
Friends, Barney The Dinosaur, Bob The Builder, Fireman Sam among
others which won't be a bad thing. This makes a change from over 20
years ago when Children's Favourites VHS included Button Moon and
Rainbow plus are much loved childhood hero Sooty.

Now what episodes will they choose? AND MEMBERS REPLY TO THE MESSAGE

My guess would be 'A Night Of A Thousand Bears' which would be
highly likely to be added and possibly either 'Sc-fi Sooty' or 'It's
A Dogs Life'.

Either way this is great that Sooty's new owners is working on new
products like this DVD and it's important that Sooty fans young and
old buy this DVD because if its a success it may lead to The Sooty
Show or Sooty & Co season DVD box sets so support this release. If
