I believe Richard is busy with his company Duo Entertainment and works
on the shows they produce as writer and director when needed. They
were behind the recent Basil Brush tour and pantos in recent years.

Richard has been involve with the recent theatre tours as host and
writer from my news sources, but again likely busy with his company.

Hopefully he will be apart of the relaunch of the Sooty brand whenever
Hit Entertainment will be planning it (likely for the upcoming 60th
Birthday coming soon) because he is still worthy for the role.
