Unfortunately it looks as though the Royals are
doing what they have done so many times before, got
into championship winning position, and blown it &gt;
2-0 v Walsall, and allow them back for a draw, whilst
Rotherham get it right 2-0 at Wigan.Fortunately there is
always the play offs, as a second chance. We better hope
that Bristol City do not qualify.<br>Still think we
need Adie Williams fit and back in the defence when
the pressure is on, a calming influence apart from
playing ability.

OK,<br><br>I believe I was wrong, and my maths is
appauling!! Reason for this totally stupid and poor error on
my part is that after a little alcohol I decided
Oxford only get to play 45 games in stead of
46!<br><br>OK, OK my maths is crap<br>SORRY<br><br>Chris

If my maths is right (which isn't likeley!) I
believe if Pox loose tonight then they are officially,
relagated as they will need 23pts to stay up with only 21
available!<br><br>Good luck Royals Tonight!<br>G'arn URZ<br><br>Chris

I'm at Uni in Bournemouth and travelled to
Reading to watch the game against Bristol City.
Disapointing to say the least. Met Jermaine Defoe yesterday at
work. He shouldn't cause too much problem to Barry or
Adi, he's bloody tiny. I shall be waiting for you all
at Dean Court to support the RZ

Hey then if OUR Lee Hodges stays, we can all sing "theres only two lee hodges"!!
Nightmare on the shirt front though!! One would have to be Lee Hodges and the
other L hodges!!

Midfielder Lee Hodges is reportedly interested in
a move away from The Iron, to either Burnley,
Millwall or Reading.<br><br>The 23-year-old missed the
recent 0-0 draw with Kidderminster Harriers with the
official reason being that he was injured.<br><br>However,
it appears that he was absent from the tie as he was
involved in talks with Reading officials and The Royals
are favourites to win his signature.<br><br>Hodges is
out of contract at the end of the season, but
Scunthorpe would still be entitled to a fee as he is under
24. However, half would go to his former club West
Ham United, as part of the deal which brought Hodges
to Glanford Park.<br><br>Hodges will need to decide
quickly which club is best for him, in order to complete
the move before Thursday's transfer deadline.

He didn't play at Wycombe as he had flu.<br>I
think it's now definately goodbye Caskey - Harper looks
a much better player for central midfield, and
Igoe's already better than Caskey on the
right.<br>Harper has been very impressive - not only can he pass,
but he's also got a lot of speed and looks like he's
bothered about playing (two things that Caskey
lacks).<br><br>The future's looking very bright!

So what do we think of James Harper - did he play
at Wycombe? Its brilliant to have (yet) another
player capable of putting the ball in the net, or
setting them up for the other guys. I think that he and
Tony Rougier play a really stylish type of football.
Lets hope the end of the season see's a load more
goals, and a bit more charm!!

Well we are back!! Wet and soak, but that is the
price you pay for having front row seats i suppose!!
Any way I do hope Caskey had the flu as he was
absolutely terrible, Pards should have taken him off!! 1-1
was more than we deserved!!

Whatever the F.A. and others say, I believe that
Jamie Cureton is totally innocent of any charge made
against him over the past few months. Why can't people
leave our Jamie alone, so that he can just play
football, and score goals?<br><br>I believe that Jamie will
go on to better things if people leave him
alone.<br><br>And - another thing "Maddog" -, when are we goin to
see Reading in the Premier League? Also, we need
quality players if we are going to get into the Premier
League. Can't you find some quality players who could be
completely free?<br><br>I know that you might think that I
am not a real Reading fan; but I have been following
Reading for the last 6 seasons.<br><br>Anyway, please
give me a line or on my e-mail address. I long to hear
from you.<br><br>Yours Sincerely David Collins

Jamie Cureton will plead his innocence before an
FA disciplinary panel next month after being charged
with misconduct over his goal
celebrations.<br><br>Cureton is adamant that he has done nothing wrong and
will state his case before the disciplinary panel when
the hearing is heard next month at a date still to be
decided.<br><br>Reading assistant manager Martin Allen said: "The club
has given Jamie its full backing after watching the
incident on video and we don't feel he deserves to be
punished because he has done nothing wrong."<br><br>An FA
spokesman said: "The player has asked for a personal
hearing and we're now waiting for a date for that to
happen.<br><br>"The powers are unlimited in what the panel might
decide to do but his claim will be heard and then acted
upon."
