Autumn by v.a.d

sitting here and watching the Autumn leave`s all falling
I can hear the different bird`s to each other they are calling
then my friend I think of you
and feel so glad of our friendship it`s true

a look at the mountain with it`s snow capped top
and I hope that there the snow will stop
then I watch as a squirrel busily gather`s it`s winter store
and give a sigh and think about the scene who could wish for more?


i also see a hedgehog scuttle by
so fast it move`s quicker than the blink of an eye
it`s a cold day and how I hope the weather stay`s fine
because I have my washing fluttering on the line

it's a cold cloudy autumn day
this to you is all I want to say
as the colourfull leave`s all come tumbleing down
I hope all your dream`s will come true and you will never wear a
frown
