Scout (valerie.a.davenport)

Now this tale may or may not be true

it did not happen to me but all I hope is it won`t happen to you.

The scout master he was determined to have some fun he was a sinner

you see he picked on a young boy and at scouting he was a beginner

the scout master pointed out an old lady with shopping bags
standing
at the edge of the road

off went this eager young boy and carried her shopping bags over to
ease her heavy load

but when the young lad returned to help her cross

she really shouted at him when she discovered her loss

but the scout masters fun started when the young scout gently took
her arm to guide

because this lady began to sob and she loudly cried



the scout master came then and he apologised as he was truly sorry
for what he did

but he wasn`t as sorry as the scout he was one confused kid

because you see if the truth were to be to told
that old lady just wasn`t that old!
