Poppy (valerie.a,davenport)

just a simple innocent flower
please wear a poppy and think of those men every hour
not just on the 11 month on the 11th hour of the 11th day
please spare an hour or two for them just to say

thank you and we do remember you
army navy and airforce too
wearing a poppy and remembering the liveing the injured and those who
died
friends and relatives hand in hand and side by side

just a poppy in colour red
that grew in a battlefield peacefully and upon the rain it fed
we should wear our poppys with great pride not just on rememberance day
and be proud to remember them on each and every day
