Get on your bike!!   Message List

Dual purpose for posting today, both concerning bicycles!

Firstly, would anyone be interested in any cycle training, and for
free? Whether you want to start from the very basic skills (getting
on a bike for the first time in years...), or whether you are an
experienced cycle who just finds the odd motorist encroaching on the
roadspace you were happily cycling along in... For a short period of
time i.e. the next few weeks, I'm going to offer my services for
free!!! My recent redundancy has given me the time to be able to
offer my services. (I'm hoping to make a small part time business out
of it.) Visit www.workplaybike.co.uk for more information... I'm
both qualified and insured!

Secondly, having talked to the guys running PUSHBIKES in Brum, I'd
like to start a social cycling group in Redditch, meeting up
occasionally, not neccessarily with the sole purpose of talking
cycling. I've been to the Redditch Road and Path CC and they are far
keener on competition or distance rides. I on the other hand just
use a bike to get around and although do a little mountain biking,
dont consider myself a sports cyclist, more a utility and leisure
cyclist.... It would be nice to have a group of like minded souls to
meet occasionally. I'm on the Redditch Cycle Forum so it would be an
opportunity to either let me represent a group, or for others to join
me!

Feel free to contact me regarding the offers, hopefully we can get a
few more people onto the most efficient form of transport known to
man, the bicycle!

Cheers,

Andrew
