An ethical soap company is offering Redditch residents the chance to discover the environmental benefits of using its products.

Tim Woodley of Red Star Natural Liquid Soaps, which produces a range of products made from entirely natural ingredients, will be talking about the company`s ethics, history and success at a meeting on Wednesday, October 4th.

Kevin White of Redditch Vegetarians and Vegans, which has organised the talk, said it was a way of showing how businesses can be both successful and ethical.

"Red Star proves it is possible to run a successful company without using animal products or testing," he said.

"It is also a way of encouraging residents to use products like this as many people may not be aware that the majority of cosmetics and toiletries are tested on animals."

Visitors will also have the opportunity to buy products at special introductory prices.
