Hi all,

We have an exciting line up for our next 2 meetings. For our meeting on Wed 2 May, our guest speaker is an alternative therapist, who will tell us all about Bach Flower Remedies. For the following meeting on Wednesday 6 June, Liz Hughes is back by popular demand with a Cakes Cookery Demo!! At both meetings, we will most likely also have our taste-buds tantalised by more of Taskers Tasty Takeaways and Red Kite Health Foods.

With an all star cast like this, it could well be standing room only, so be sure to get there early, before the doors are bolted to avoid a crush!!!!!  :)   As always, both meetings will be held at St Georges Community Hall, from 7.30pm. (refreshments available from 7.15pm)

Wed 2 May - Guest Speaker Meeting
Alternative therapist Angie Westwood will give a fascinating talk about Bach Flower Remedies. Angie is fully qualified and experienced in various alternative treatments, including Reiki and Reflexology. Angie has been vegetarian for 20 years.

The Bach Flower Remedies are a system of 38 Flower Essences that correct emotional imbalances: negative emotions are replaced with positive. Bach flowers are natural, gentle, effective and completely free of harmful side effects. They work in conjunction with herbs, homeopathy and medications.  They are 100% safe for everyone, including children, pregnant women, pets, elderly and even plants. More details on our website http://www.redditchveggies.makessense.co.uk/events/568.html

Wed 6 June - Cakes Cookery Demo
This is not to be missed!! Liz Hughes of Birmingham Veggies & Vegans will cook various delicious cakes using a selection of the 1,000`s of vegan recipes available. All of these mouthwatering cakes will then be available to sample, and the printed recipes will be free to take home!!:

Liz will also give general hints and tips on vegan cake making. This event will not only suit veggies/vegans, but also those with milk allergies or the lactose intolerant. Why should they have to go without delicious desserts? Now they don`t have to!! So be sure to bring along any friends, family, work colleagues etc that may benefit from learning how to cook dairy-free delights!! More details on our website http://www.redditchveggies.makessense.co.uk/events/569.html

Look forward to seeing you at one or the other, or both!

Best wishes,

Kevin
