At our next meeting on Wednesday 7th Nov, we`ll welcome Lyn Tudor of Hillfields Animal Sanctuary at Blackwell, nr Bromsgrove. Lyn will talk to us about her tireless work rescuing animals for the past 30 years, the joy that helping animals gives her and the many problems encountered along the way! As with the last 2 years, our December meeting(Wed 5th) will take the form of a Bring and Share Christmas Supper! Both meetings will take place at our usual venue, St Georges Community Hall, from 7.30pm.

On Saturday 8th December, the Veg*n Climate March will take place in London. The event has the support of Viva, Peta and the Vegan Society and promises to be the "biggest ever mobilisation of vegetarians and vegans on environmental grounds!!" There will be coach transport from Birmingham and Redditch. It will pick up by the Birmingham Post and Mail Building on Colmore Circus at 8.30am and at Redditch Magistrates Court at 9.15am. Seats cost £12 waged and £6 unwaged. Thurs 13/20 Dec - Solihull Animal Aid Annual Carol Singing in Solihull Town Centre, from 6.30pm. Help raise funds for local sanctuaries, over £1,000 was raised last year and it`s great fun too!!
