Don't consider the multi-mouse-live-catch-gismo that has a wind-up clockwork
mechanism if you want to release all your mice back into the wild in good
condition.
It has a nice big holding area and you can put in bedding and food to keep
them happy while awaiting release. We caught 3 mice OK but last night I
found a mouse with its neck broken trapped in the rotating door and
alongside it a vole struggling madly. The sweeping-door mechanism had
caught and trapped the vole's foot and swept it into the air so it was
suspended. I had to tear the the trap to bits to release it.
This trap winds up from the side to set it, it's metal and about £10.
Someone gave it to me in good faith as humane. Not good!
