As some of you will already know Hillfields Animal Sanctuary are having a Friends of the Sanctuary buffet on Saturday the 13th September. It is being held in the church hall, opposite the Sanctuary, and starts at 7 30 pm. Catering is by Green Garden Cafe, a new not-for-profit vegan catering service from Coventry, who were featured in the latest Vegan Society and Vegetarian Society magazines. It`s a chance to spend a pleasant evening in the company of like minded people. The cost is £9.00 (payable at the door) with all profits going to help keep the 300 plus animals in the sanctuaries care.

 

There have been 2 previous fundraising meals which were both well attended and enjoyed by all, but so far this time, the response has been poor. It would be a great shame if the meal has to be cancelled, not least because Hillfields are more desperate than ever for funds!
