Vegan Catering for All - with Amanda Baker (Vegan Society PR & Media Officer)

The Vegan Society`s focus for the current year is to encourage restaurants and all eateries to provide delicious, healthy vegan food. There`s no excuse for eating establishments not to cater properly for vegans. Doing so will increase customers, but many chefs need a little encouragement and advice. Amanda will tell us how the society is working hard to distribute their fantastic resources for chefs nationwide. She`ll explain how you can help with the campaign.

We`re trying to encourage local chefs and restaurateurs to attend the meeting. You can help by printing off copies of our press release and distribute them to your local restaurant, pub, cafe, hotel etc. Let`s see if we can fill the hall with enthusiastic chefs!! As always, Red Kite Health Foods will have a stall at the meeting, offering a wide range of tempting treats from the shops shelves.

FREE ADMISSION - Everyone Welcome - Doors Open 7.15pm

Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.
