Brighton Vegan Fair 21 March - travel info   Message List

Hi All,
I have just booked train tickets for that weekend.
I shall be spending the night before the fair in Eastbourne and
discovered that it's not only a lot cheaper to book online in advance
but cheaper to book a ticket from Eastbourne to London than from
Eastbourne to Brighton, yet all trains stop in Brighton, which is less
than half way!
In fact by booking online in advance it's costing me less to go
Victoria - Eastbourne, Eastbourne - Brighton & Brighton back to London
than any one of the three tickets would have cost if bought nearer the
time, not for a specific train or on the day, and that's even taking
into account the £1 fee charged by thetrainline.com.
Hope to see lots of you there, and make sure you bring enough dosh
because there may be some new VS T-shirts by then.
Best wishes,
Patricia
