Redditch tastes its first vegetarian food fair next week - with plenty of
mouth-watering dishes to sample.

The Veggie Food Fair will be held on Saturday, October 8 from 10.30am to
3pm at St Stephen`s Church, in the town centre.

The event is being organised by the newly-formed Redditch Vegetarians and
Vegans.

Everything from burgers, biscuits and bhajis to sausages, samosas and
soup will be on offer, free of charge.

Stalls will be selling a wide variety of goods including nutrition
wall-charts, badges, stationery, cards and vegan cosmetics.

Expert advice on how to eat ethically will be available.

Mark Higgins, of Redditch Vegetarians and Vegans, said: "Anyone who
doubts that veggie food is delicious and healthy should come along and
try it."
