A total of 19 people attended our last meeting to hear Diane Smith talk about her work going into schools to give talks about vegetarianism. Let`s see if we can beat that figure this time!!

Cookery Demo - Cooking with Tofu

Wednesday 3 May - starting 7.30pm prompt - St Georges Community Hall

This is not to be missed!! Various delicious tofu dishes will be cooked using a selection of the many types of tofu available. All of these mouthwatering dishes will be free to sample, and the recipes will be free to take home!!

• Breakfast Scramble
• Sizzling Fajitas
• Cutlet
• Smoked Tofu Pate
• Chocolate Pudding

All the recipes are available to view and print off here NOTE: You must first become a member of our forum to see these recipes.

There will be a short agenda to follow which will include a discussion about arrangements for our food sample/information stall and vegan catering at the forthcoming Green Fair in Redditch on Sat 3 June.

Vegan biscuits and refreshments will be available for everyone from 7.15pm. As always, there will be a range of factsheets and leaflets to browse and take home. There will also be a `library` of interesting books regarding veggie/vegan diets. Everyone will be welcome to borrow books and bring them back next time.
