The Redditch Green Fair is now less than 2 weeks away!! On Saturday 3 June, Redditch will see it`s first ever fair aimed at creating awareness of sustainable, eco friendly living. It`s being held at St Stephens Church(in the town centre) from 10.30am - 3pm, admission is free!! There will be many stalls offering organic produce, fairtrade goods, eco friendly cleaning products, green books, real nappies and lots of information for the general public to take away regarding waste reduction solutions, green energy suppliers etc etc. There will also be face painting and balloon modelling to keep the kids busy and alternative therapists will offer treatments and advice! It is very exciting for Redditch to host an event of this kind!!

What better place for Redditch Vegetarians & Vegans to have a free food sample/information stall?!! This is a great opportunity to spread the message that veggie/vegan food is not only delicious and healthy, it`s also far less damaging to the environment!! There is now increasing evidence that the most effective action anyone can take to help save the planet is to GO VEGGIE or better still VEGAN!!! Our free food sample stall is likely to be very popular with the public. Food preparation has so far been limited to just 2-3 members of the group, if you can help with this, please get in touch. We also have food donations coming from Redwoods, Beanies and Granovita, but if we are very busy, our food may not last the day!!

As well as running our stall, RVV will also be serving vegan refreshments from the kitchen. If you have a little time to spare at any point during the day, we would welcome some help with setting up tables, running the stall, serving refreshments, washing up, handing out leaflets or just talking to the public about healthy, eco friendly, veggie/vegan diets.

Are you into photography?? We would like to hear from anyone that would be willing to take lots of pics of the stalls, the food, the crowds etc, which will help with future event promotion and can be displayed on our website etc.
