It`s been a long time coming, but finally Redditch Vegetarians & Vegans are getting together for our second group meal out on Wednesday 5th July, instead of our normal meeting on that evening. We`re going to The Little Lark in Studley, for a meal which will cost £8.50 per person. Menu options on offer will include vegan curry, stuffed peppers and vegan lasagne, and for dessert, apple crumble and fruit salad. Spaces are limited so if you would like to attend, please get in touch as soon as possible.

On Saturday 1st July, a street collection will take place in Redditch Town Centre, in aid of national campaigning group Animal Aid. www.animalaid.org.uk The permit to collect includes within the busy Kingfisher Shopping Centre. RVV members are helping to co-ordinate the collection, which will help raise funds for Animal Aid`s invaluable campaigns, including the promotion of vegetarian/veganism via school talks, youth newsletters, leaflets etc. If you can help, please get in touch as soon as possible. Any amount of your time, at any point during the day would be useful, thanks.

Finally, Animal Aid are holding a Cookery Demonstration Workshop in Lichfield, on Saturday 8th July. Great for anyone interested in promoting vegetarian/veganism in schools.
