Berlin - Leipzig - Stuttgart - Munich - Zurich

By the motto "fair play for a fair society" the cyclists of the Pro Retina
Germany e. V. are planning their Euro-Tandem-Tour from 2 June 2006 until 13
June 2006 from Berlin to Zurich. On this tour we want to act as sympathy
bearers for the football world championships 2006 in Germany and to cycle
through Germany with sporty verve. To represent Germany as a likeable
sports' nation is one of our targets and we want to contribute to the
national "football fever" Jürgen Klinsman wishes for.

Besides this athletic campaign we are promoting en route the idea of a world
of togetherness and solidarity. Our sports' tandem stands as a symbol for a
social tandem which we would like to see in practice in all areas of daily
life. We, the Euro-Tandem-Tour 2006, are cycling for a responsible behaviour
that also considers people not born on the "sunny side" of life. Therefore,
we are supporting the childrens' aid society "Unicef" with their patroness,
Ms. Eva Köhler, wife of our President
