RE: [retinayouth] RETINA EUROPE YOUTH MEETING 2007 - program -

Hi Markus

Congrats on a great program for the 2007 meeting. Hope you are well. I wish
you health and happiness in the coming year.

Really glad to know you are still actively involved in matters RP. Just to
let you know that I have recently taken up a post as Project Officer with
the Royal National Institute of the Blind. I spent the last three years as
Chair of RNIB NI Committee and was on the Board of RNIB London for one year.
I am project officer for 'Employability and Skills for Women' which offers
Confidence Building, IT skills and Job Placement opportunities for blind and
partially sighted women. Our new office is in Derry and is funded in
partnership with European Social Fund.

I am always interested in hearing what members of the original REY group are
up to. So when you get a chance let me know how things are with you. Also
pass on my regards to Dieter if you ever see him.

I have since trainied with a guide dog - Lark, a black labrador and find her
a great aid to my independance.

Yourself and the others are always welcome to come and stay with me on the
border between NI and the Republic. Juat say the word.

Regards
Annmarie
