Mike congratulations on your career success, you worked hard and deserve to do
well.
Kiki and I will meet next weekend for the first time in six years. The Irish
invitation is still open to the rest of you.

I want to let you know that I gave up my career in the public library service
last September, to work full-time for people with sight loss. I am Women's
Project Officer with RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind and Partially
Sighted People). Our project office is in Derry, NI, we offer confidence
building, IT training and career support to women in employment or looking for
work. There are 60 women involved, I am proud to say it is a model of
excellence. We have a DVD featuring 6 women from the project. I would be
delighted to hear from anyone interested in a copy of the DVD.

Our vision at RNIB is to make Northern Ireland the best place in the world for
blind and partially sighted people to live work and socialise. Our director is
very ambitious and we have a strong team of 60 staff to make this happen.

more or less busy with work or even with families. So, certainly there is room
for new active young people in the RI Youth group.I am also happy to hear about
the good progress you have made in your career not forgetting to fight for the
job opportunities for the disabled.The relation with RP and AMD movements has of
course been discussed in many countries resulting in different types of
cooperation. It is however sad to hear that in Poland the RP patients are left
with less attention.We have not been so strict to welcome youth who are not a
member of their national RP association to the youth group and meeting. So it

society. 1,5 year ago our president - Malgorzata Pacholec went to cooperation
with amd society, against the will of all active members as Pawel or me. They
changed a name and now they are Retina AMD Polska. Unfortunately many RPies
become retired and now society is dealing almost always with AMDies. This was a
reason that many people quit the society. Another reason was that Mrs. Pacholec

for whole members. It was a war or something. I couldn't be observer of this so

my clients company, so I am also a main marketing and Pr specialist in
international corporation. I decided to use this succes a nd become an ambasador
of employment handicupe persons and few cherity campaign in a corporation.That
is the reason of low activity in RP cases.But I willing to join Helsinki
Meeting. It's been a long time since we all met and I miss everybody from REY. I
am also willing to join this meeting as a civil, not a member of Polish RP
group. I never had a subsidisation of my society so that is why I am asking
