Hallo Caisa!
Yvonne from the Netherlands calling! What a lovely letter! Good news too!
When you go to Lund perhaps you will meet B. Ehinger - he is a fantastic
person - we met at the RI 1998 in Lugano.
It was interesting to read how Swedish healthcare is organized. We will keep
our fingers crossed for you on friday before Christmas. We too had one of
those days - at the end you are "pooped" as the Americans say - or totally
whiped out! The only thing you will be able to do at the end of the day is
role into bed! But you will find it interesting. Do not expect to hear too
many answers that day - a number of tests have to be processed and
evaluated. (In Jacquelines case we were dissapointed that the only thing we
heard that it was RP and that she would be blind when she was about 19 - you
met her in Poland when she was 19 and she can still read books with normal
letters) This was more than ten years ago - now a days the prof´s have
become more careful.
It´s a pity that I do not know what you mean by wanting to hear how your
vision works from a medical point of view, it´s so difficult to talk via the
computer! As you know I talk with hands and feet - so typing into this
machine is a disaster for me!
Please mail me if you think I can help!
Love for you and the rest of our list and RP family,
Yvonne van der Wiel-Rompa
