AW: [retinayouth] Date of next meeting?   Message List

Hi Folks,
Good to know that you all are still alive and interested on a meeting again
:-)
Would be nice to see you all again ! We have had a nice time in the past.

I´d like to pass the information to you I have got today from the Retina France,
who are the host of Retina Europe meeting.
Now we are trying to arrange a youth meeting beside the Retina Europe meeting.
Maybe we can join some common topics, especially with external speakers and
specialists.
As you know there is no active youth group in France at the moment.
This makes it much more complicated to arrange a youth meeting.

Contrary to our previous meetings in Greece and Poland, which had been very good
organised by the youth group there, we have to face the problem to organise most
of the things from abroad. Please be patient for a while. Hope to get more
details soon.

Meantime it would be great if we can work out an agenda about our internal
topics of REY.
I have asked Mike if he would be so glad to create an agenda. Unfortunately he
is writing his exams and we have to wait until he finished.
An agenda would be the basis for all financial issues and further planings.

Retina France is organising the Retina Europe meeting on 15th October
(Wednesday) in Paris and European conference on rare disorders and disabilities
on 16th-17th October (Thursday - Friday) in Évry (35 km from Paris),
They are planning the arrival of the members on evening of 14th October
(Tuesday) and departure on the 17th in the evening.

As hotel they appointed: Hotel Villa Du Maine
Meetings will be hold at: Hopital Broussais (XIVéme arrondissement): Alliance
Maldies Rares
Total costs for the 4 days are 260,-- EURO per person (without travel expenses).

Now you got an impression of RE meeting. We have still all possibilities to
arrange REY meeting as per your requests and needs (and of course for a less
amount).
Important for my and the French planing is the number of people which we are
expecting to come.
I am very glad about the big group from the Netherlands. Sounds we will have a
lot of fun over there.

That´s all from my side for the moment.

Best regards,
Markus

Hello Ann Marie!
It's very nice to hearing from you. Thank you for wishes. Most problems are
from my english exam...
I join to qestion of Ann Marie - Markus, we have to know more about place
and time of meeting. It is necessery for gathering financial sorces. My
grand father lives in Paris and I musst know the adress of our hostel,
because if its far from my grand father flat, I would pay for accomodation.
