Hi!

I know that if I have to explain a cartoon then it probably isn't
funny, and plus, if it was even a little funny then it won't be
after explaining it because that takes any funny out of things.

However here is why I think those 3 are funny.

1. It combined that news of the people's ashes going out into space
a few weeks ago with that 80s Folgers coffee crystals commercial.
The TV ad was basically taking place with "hidden cameras" in fine
restaurants where they secretly switch the regular expensive coffee
the restaurant gives its patrons with the Folgers coffee crystals
and "let's see if they notice". Then the commercial shows how the
customer reveals surprise that such a cheapo coffee was so delicious
and how they will start buying Folgers. So I sort of played off
that but only with ashes from that space thing because ashes look
alike and Earl would do something weird like that and think it's
normal.

2. I was having Milkman Dan convincing Sluggo that a rock is
living, and so he was duped into wanting to have a funeral for it.
Which apparently kids do a lot when they lose pets. They'll ask for
things like funerals and coffins and stuff like real humans, because
their minds are black/white and that's what they are brought up to
believe (that when something dies there is a funeral for it etc).

3. The old man decides to confess to stealing money. So he does to
the padre, but he forgot that he was at a costume party and that
isn't a padre but someone else in a priest outfit.


Sorry it's been a while getting back to this, as I've been doing so
on my free time. I've been busy with a work project and haven't
checked this yahoo thing for a while now. But anyway..

So, when you say to be more humorous would you say that I should be
a little less dry/dark humor and a little more obvious humor? I'll
try that next.
