Robbie Williams has landed SM:tv in trouble after flashing his bottom on the
Saturday morning show. Two viewers complained about the incident on ITV1 and the
Broadcasting Standards Commission has upheld their complaint. The singer was
showing off his football skills in the Eat My Goal section of the programme
where celebrity guests have to take a spot-kick.
As the competition ended, Williams pulled down his pants and bared his bottom to
the cameras. It was the final show presented by Ant and Dec last December. They
were unaware the star was pulling a moonie behind them and Robbie's bottom was
partially obscured behind the presenters.
The BSC panel ruled: "Whilst only a partial view of the guest's bottom could be
seen, the Panel considered that the production crew could have exercised
stricter control over the situation, given the reputation of the performer for
such antics and in view of the age of the audience and time of broadcast."
A spokesman for programme makers LWT said Williams had been ticked off for the
"momentary and childish prank".
