I finally got around to joining your group thingy. Just dropping you a
note to say I have had a very enjoyable summer with the 500 Bullet that
you sold me earlier in the year. Great fun to go tootling around the
lanes on!
In August I drove it to Nordkapp, the most northerly point in mainland
Europe. It blew a head gasket at the Arctic Circle but I managed to get
some parts sent out a few days later. (I phoned you, but you were on
holiday!) The bike managed to drive 500 miles north of the Arctic
Circle and 120 miles back to Hammerfest before getting it onto a boat
south. I landed in Bodo, Norway a couple of days later. I made the
repairs and then carried on into Sweden. The trip lasted nearly three
weeks and the bike did about 3500 miles. The scenery was magnificent.
