Jai Sai Ram

            It was our 1^st  group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani at Hyderabad. It was as good, peace giving, soothing in the pious atmosphere as in Delhi. The number of devotees were also quite large and could not be accommodated inside the house. Some had to sit in gallery and some had to sit in the next house, across the gallery. Although almost all the devotees were new here and were more than 100 in number, yet there was a pin drop silence at the time of meditation and the recitation was in one tone and along with the CD. It was the wonderful experience of the feel of presence of Baba. Some photos are attached.

A devotee from Chennai could not make it in time and came only afterwards.

            We have limited number of books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, devotees are requested to bring their own printouts by downloading the script from the file section of the yahoogroup. They can have the script in English, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu and Gujrati besides the Hindi. They are also requested to be in time, as it disturbs others.

( Somebody took away my 2 pens, I request him to return it. Every thing here is not as prasad, that you take away of their own.)

             We reached here on Saturday night and  on Sunday itself Udi started oozing from the photos of Baba on the walls and in the mandir. Udi was also oozing from the Statue of Baba in the mandir. Here, they have charans of Baba also. Our daughter-in-law immediately kept a thali below the Charans, in the hope that Holy Water may also start oozing from the charans. But Holy water started oozing only from Wednesday evening. On Monday we visited our family friend, who took us to the temple of Baba in Venkat Reddy Nagar, Ramanthapur, which they are constructing. We did the Abhishk of Baba and after the Abhishk, Mrs Gupta did some meditation and requested Baba to bless the place. Soon Udi started oozing from the small statue of Baba, in front of which Mrs Gupta was doing the pooja. There was also another Pratima of Baba, which was donated by this family. There also Udi started oozing when Mrs Gupta did pooja and meditation. Family of Pandit ji took some photos, which I will upload if I receive them.

               We will be going to Shirdi on 7^th Feb. We will return back to Hyderabad on 11^th . We will be  in Shirdi with our beloved Baba from 8^th Feb to 10^th Feb. Hence no emails also during this period.

               We are also planning to have Sai Bhajan Sandhya on 12^th April, if Baba permits us, at our central park in our colony in New Delhi.

                I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers on 5^th Feb 2009, Mrs. Gupta ( Sai Maa as the devotees call her) prayed for all of them during the Pooja and the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong. Please address your requests for prayers only on email id veena_gupta_2000@... and don¢t bother all the 6000  honorable members with so many letters. We will club the letters in 3 parts and circulate all the non-confidential letters to the members. Please don¢t forget to mention that you will be reciting/reading or listening Sri Sai Amrit Vani with us on that Thursday (Any time, if 11AM to 12 is not possible).

            Baba repeated HIS leelas this Thursday here also, This Thursday the  5^th Feb 2009,  we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba.

1.          Udi started  oozing from Sunday  from the  photos on the wall  and Hindi words `RAM'  `SHAM'  `OM'  were formed with Udi on the photos. From Photo in the mandir also Udi started oozing from Tuesday and also forming the words  `RAM'  `SHAM' and  `OM' on it. Udi from the Statue also started oozing from Sunday morning.

2.          Holy Water  started oozing from the Charans from  Wednesday morning, Although a thali was place below the charans on Sunday itself.  This Thali was also emptied several times and it was getting filled up again. The taste of water here was also similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to some  devotees only as there was much rush.

3.          Lap and hands of Mrs. Gupta were filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari.

4.          On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba. Some figures were formed on the remains of Bhog. This time again many figures were formed on the different items of Bhog.

5.          The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.

6.          Photos, papers  and documents, Statues of Baba, Charans of Baba, Sai Satcharitra   etc. all which were placed before Baba, were blessed with Udi on them.

                  Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11 AM.  followed by brief Meditation and the prayer,  Prayan of  last chapter  of Sai Satcharitra was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the distribution of Udi. Here also some devotees talked about their experiences afterwards.

                 Next week again recitation of Sri Sai Amrit will be held at Hyderabad at Flat No. 68, Lotus Tower,  L & T  Serene County Residential Township, Moulana Azad Urdu University Lane, Telecom Nagar, Gachi Bowli, Hyderabad, A P 500032. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone 040-32577227 and 040-23003219 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any  day except Thursdays and  no calls on Thursdays   P L E A S E . (If devotees who join us in absentia, find it difficult to recite from 11 AM, they can do it, at any time, as convenient to them.)
