Free Fun with Physics at Heriot-Watt University

Sunday 23 March, 10am-4.30pm and 5.30pm - 7pm
Monday 24 March, 4pm-7.30pm

Get hands-on with FREE science demos and experiments for all the family.

Two days of exciting science activities, demonstrations and exhibits for
all the young and old are brought to you at the Physics Congress on 23-24
March. Come and take part in all the fun, all for FREE!

Sunday 23 March, 10am-4.30pm and 5.30pm - 7pm
Explore the marvels of the Universe in the Astrodomes, take your children
to see 'Thunderstruck' - an interactive science panto about thunderstorms
and clouds, win a prize in the Great Paper Plane Flying Competition, and
see an electrifying talk - 'Arcs and Sparks'. There will also be science
exhibits, puzzles and challenges from Satrosphere and the SciFun team,
Heriot-Watt robots and bouncy castles! In the evening, join in a debate
about Pluto's planet status and see a comet made before your very eyes as
well as handle meteorites from around the world.

Monday 24 March, 4pm-7.30pm
A special evening for members of science clubs, brownies and cub groups as
well as members of the public. Join in the hands-on science activities,
take a tour of the universe in the astrodomes and win a prize for the best
paper plane!
