From: Wayne Talbot at WTA <wayne.wta@...>
I have just started a PhD looking at appropriate use of ICT. I am still
grappling with the basics - what is e-learning? What does appropriate mean?
I have also been looking at ICT and e-learning from a biological and
ecological perspective where there are some serious benefits (not least
investigations do not involve me getting wet so often) and some serious
issues such as understanding the scale of a woodland or forest, or the
undoubted benefit of actually catching stuff to look at.
I am now beginning to think about other subject areas and physics seems to
be an obvious one to pick. Would people be interested in volunteering to
take part in the study when I have formulated the questionnaire? Having
taught I am envisaging an electronic questionnaire that takes less than 30
minutes to fill in so it will not take that long to do.
Kind regards
Wayne
