appropriate lab layout for science education 21C   Message List

Folks

If we start with a clean slate for planning appropriate lab layout
for learning science concepts to high levels, what would it be like?
Let's see teachers' ideas on this site - Action Research on website!

My idea:
A board for visualising ideas, a small movable table for keeping an
overhead projector and teacher's lesson plan and board pens and
eraser and a chair for the teacher and movable tables just enough to
accomodate two/three pupils and chairs for pupils -1.arranged on one
side, and practical work area on the other, side of a room or 2.
arranged in the middle surrounded by practical work area on three
sides.

Trying to do(as far as possible) anything on the basis of merit and
not on tradition
