Hiya
drawing info from Bus Lists on the web
EWS162-194D were new to Scottish Omnibuses
as XA162-194 seating C38Ft
and EWS195-206D were new to SOL as YA195-206
seating C45F.
If you have a look at this collection on Fotopic:
there are several views of EWS-D's of these batches;
whether these pics prove to be useful is another thing :-)
best of luck
Mark

No's I am giving you, are for the 2 that Fife had for use on Glenrothes-London run. They are EWS 168 D (FE34) and EWS 169 D(FE35). I believe them to be ex-Eastern Scottish buses. I now know that they had coach doors and not grant doors. One of the books I have says they were 38 seaters, but another source says they were 45 seaters with the whole rear window blanked out. 1 photo I have shows they were only just over half blanked out. I will post the 2 photos of the fife buses in the album section for you to see for yourself if you wish.Thank you for helping out. It is appreciated.Walter.----- Original Message ----
