Hello Mark,
I wasn't aware if it was wrong. You see, still being a bit of a novice at spray painting, I wanted a Midland vehicle that didn't look 'plain'. I saw a photo of this vehicle and thought the number was MPE 62. The photo was not very sharp, but I liked the livery - it was different, but easy enough for me to do. I got the number plate from the 'bus lists on the web'. If I have got the wrong fleet number, it is purely a mistake on my behalf - I am maybe needing glasses now that I am getting older. The other models I am working on (slowly), should be authentic enough with correct fleet numbers and reg plates.
Thank you for letting me know anyway. I am going to search for that photo on my discs and I will sit and stare at it with my eyes squinted up convinced that I am seeing MPE 62. I know I will probably be wrong, but i'll just blame it on getting older.
Kindest
regards,
Walter Burt.
P.S. Do you own, or part own, any Y types? (real, not models)

Hi Walter,
I have to ask, why did you choose a later front Y-type model to
produce MPE62 which had the first style of front?
Website recently update with a Strathclyde Roe Olympian.
