Sadly I won't be able to come on Monday - got to take Miranda to her Grandmother's in Hampshire that afternoon and think I'd better return the following morning early. I have, however, finished Miranda's jumper. It actually looks more like a public art installation (sizewise at least) but it is undeniably WARM. Will try to remember to photograph it for your amusement. XX J

Oh dear, with Radio Days on Lower Marsh as well, my bank balance
is going to look decidedly unhealthy! if you head down to Lower Marsh around
lunchtime, I really recommend a curry from Marsh Ruby – very fresh, and reasonably
priced.

I enjoyed the chat last night (& dominated it somewhat I fear) but we really must sharpen our tongues, the bitching levels are way below the stitching in quantity and potency! x J

Last night was great fun (and I scoffed a yummy supper there before wielding the needles) - 31st is in the diary but the 17th may be complicated, I've got a sort of half-booked (baked) thing pencilled in for then. If you others meet I might come along at the last min, childcare allowing.
Terribly tempted by the Festival Hall. But terribly keen not to spend hideous amounts on wool and terribly sure I would if I went. Perhaps could go purseless purely in the interests of research.

Back in one piece, but have not been home yet. Hope to make it later,
but it depends on state of house and whether I will feel very
strongly about having to catch up on some sleep. The latter obviously
not having been the main focus of the weekend...

Ebay gives me an option, but they come as 50 pairs which seems a bit
much given that I only want 1 pair....
I think I've got a work thing on that date so might have to miss the Feb group :-(

Great to meet you all, and looking forward to the next one. I will take
a picture of the booties once they are finished (since I know have a
reasonable chance of actually finishing them!)
Checked the label and the yarn I am using is indeed 100% cotton
For those who are interested, the pattern for the booties can be found
